Granted, that did mean that each full series of The Adventure Games lacked the complete feeling of other narrative-driven video games. This may have helped Doctor Who fans relate the game. These playable episodes follow a similar storytelling pattern to the show itself, with each one being roughly the length of a normal episode. By the end of the third episode, the Doctor and Amy decide to visit 23rd century London only to find the city underwater, under attack by a large shark-like creature and infected by the Vashta Nerada. The pair have a run-in with the Cybermen in the second episode, which leads them to seek a less life-threatening adventure in the third episode that ends with Amy having to pilot the Tardis to save herself and the suffocating Doctor. It starts with the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond stopping the Daleks from altering the course of history.
